It's Stuff to Scraps 3rd birthday, so many of their challenges are birthday themed.
Here's one I did today from a lonnngggg time ago!
My first birthday! I may not remember the day, but I remember that house!
Thoughts on Faith, Church, Life, and a place to share my life through my favorite hobby, Digital Scrapbooking!

Ghost of Easter Past
I used the May 'Use it or Lose it' freebie from Stuff to Scrap for this page from 1974-
I just wish I could remember how Mom broke her leg! When I get a hold of her and find out, I'll update here! ;)
From her comment on Facebook- "That first year while we were living on Roosevelt Rd there was an accident a few houses down and we went to see if they needed help. I stumbled in a frozen rut. Thought it was a sprain two days later they confirmed it was a hairline fracture. That still meant a cast and on crutches. I had forgotten that the cast matched my Easter outfit. lol"

Superbowl Speed Scrap!
Superbowl Sunday TheStudio held 5 hours of speed scraps and I took part in all five! It was so much fun to chat with these ladies and scrap along with them. Here's what I came up with-
This gave me a chance to scrap some of the pics from 2007 I've been wanting to work on. I'm finding it quite different to work on older photos like this. I'm so used to using 8 to 20 photos for a single event, taking up 3 to five pages...or more! Paring it down to a single page, or two page spread is challenging and makes me focus on what I really want to remember!

Blast from the Past- 1995
October 1995. Halloween was still a big deal to us, and we had our first Dead Man's Party. A themed costume party where you had to come as something or some one dead. It was quite the evening!
This was the first Halloween that when we did our crawl down Mill Avenue we 'counted Crows'. If memory serves, there were over 20 (but Aaryk's was the best!).
We also held a costume contest at All About Books & Comics that year-
Look at those glasses! And Aaryk was practically blind because he wouldn't wear his with the costume! That was an interesting evening all right!

Blast from the Past! 1988
Here's Brian and I getting ready to fly to Arizona for the first time. Saying goodbye to my folks was rough, I didn't know when I would see them again, and other than college I'd never lived more than 30 minutes away from them.
It was a sad farewell and the start of the grand AZ adventure!
